I grew up in Kenya until I was 18. In 1973 I went to art school at the West Surrey College of Art and Design (WSCAD) in Farnham Surrey and graduated in 1977 having studied Fine Art Painting. In the past I have had work exhibited several times at the Whitechapel Open in East London, at the New Grafton Gallery, the Ashgate Gallery in Farnham, the Ashbarn in Petersfield and the Ogle Gallery in Cheltenham. I consider my work is fairly intimate and painted for a domestic setting. I am happy to take commissions, including portraits. Love this sketch. I know Saunton, and am off there for a surf trip in the next month or two.
What scanner did you use? I struggle to get good scans of my watercolours.
Hi Blue skystudio-Its a Hewlett Packard Scanjet5400c. I am very happy with it and it came with a photo Printing pacjkage which alows for some useful adjustments-like rotating by small turns rather than the normal 90 degree so if your scan (or original) is skewy you can fix it. Its perfect for me.
We have had some great times at Saunton. Completely chilled out staying in those little cottages/beach villas there.
